Feeling alone after diagnosis of vascular malformation, stroke, brain injury, or treatment?
Project Hope publishes real advice from those who have stepped through the same paths of uncertainly you are walking.

We curated voices from survivors and family members who took time to fill out a survey by Burgundy for Life for #AVMAwarenessMonth in October, 2017.

"What message do you have for someone recently diagnosed with a Vascular Malformation?"

Know your condition inside out! Doctors are great, but they very often don't understand the details of your condition. You need to make sure you don't slip through the cracks of the healthcare system, and make sure you get what you need.
